Labor Day has passed, and the nights have grown cooler here on the mountain. It’s game on for fall events and activities.

We have pared down our operating hours, and you can still enjoy Solitude Bike Park and other fun activities well into fall. Solitude continues to offer biking, hiking, disc golf, live music, dining, and the Adventure Park through October 6.

Solitude Bike Park

The Solitude Bike Park team continues to develop and open new sections of biking trail, with six new trails now ready for you to explore. Quicksilver is complete and riding like a dream. Unleaded, our new black jump trail, is also open for service and getting great reviews.

Thanks to popular demand, we’re extending our twilight lift hours to the first two Fridays in September. Come up after work on September 6 and 13 to experience Solitude Bike Park with Moonbeam Express open until 7:00 p.m.

Fall Events

Our Sunday Live Music Series continues until September 22, followed by the Big Cottonwood Winter Welcome on September 29. With the aspen leaves in full effect, the Winter Welcome features live music, food, craft beer, and a ski movie on the Apex Lawn.

2005-2008 Moonbeam Chair Auction

One more fun announcement – we are going to be auctioning more chairs in the coming weeks! If you didn’t manage to snag an Eagle Express chair last summer, you’ve got another chance to own a piece of Solitude history. These chairs are from the 2005-08 Moonbeam chairlift, before it was shortened and moved to its current location as Powderhorn II.

All proceeds from the auction go to the Solitude Fund which helps support employees and others close to the resort who are experiencing hardship.

Winter is coming soon, and with it, great skiing and riding at Solitude. But enjoy the fall with us first. It’s going to be fantastic up here.
