Ikon Pass End Of Season Party
Saturday, May 10
We’re excited to celebrate our most loyal skiers and riders on May 10. If you’ve skied or snowboarded 12 or more days at Solitude during the 24/25, you’re invited to our Ikon Pass Party. Enjoy exclusive lift access on Eagle Express, free snacks, and a live DJ.
Closing Day Retro Party
Sunday, May 11
Close the season in style and celebrate Mother’s Day, too. Come dressed as you wanna be and join us for a fun day of spring festivities. Spectate or participate in Solitude’s first Cardboard Derby. Then join us for a Last Run from the top of Powderhorn II.
Cardboard Derby
Sunday, May 11
Registration is now available for teams of 1-4 people. Competitors will cruise down the mountain in “boats” made of cardboard and duct tape. Prizes awarded for quickest, best crash, and best costume/boat design.
Bonus Weekends
After daily operations finish, we are looking to open two additional weekends, keeping you skiing and riding until Memorial Day. If we reach the holiday, it will be one of the latest closing dates in Solitude history!
First Bonus Weekend

Friday, May 23 — Monday, May 26
Join us as we spin Apex Express and Link from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Moonbeam Express will not be open as we perform summer maintenance and prep trails for Solitude Bike Park.
Summer Operations
Summer operations begin Thursday, June 12, conditions permitting. Cruise Solitude Bike Park or climb and bounce in the Adventure Park. Enjoy scenic chairlift rides, dining, disc golf, and more. We’ll start with a Thursday — Sunday schedule before moving to daily operations on Thursday, June 26.
Join us from 10:00 a.m. — 6:00 p.m. for summer fun. Stay late on Tuesday and Thursday nights when we’ll stay open until 8:00 p.m.
Big Cottonwood Brew Fest
Due to popular demand, we have extended our Big Cottonwood Canyon Brew Fest to two days this season. Mark your calendar for Father’s Day weekend, June 14 — 15, for live music, tasty food, and Utah’s best local beers.
Wasatch Gravity Pass & Solitude Bike Park Pass
The Solitude Bike Park Pass is on sale now! Get unlimited, lift-served access to our thrilling mountain bike park designed by Gravity Logic.
And new this year, we are launching a joint bike park pass with Deer Valley Resort. The Wasatch Gravity Pass grants you access to both the Deer Valley Bike Park and Solitude Bike Park, as well as unlimited access to hiking and scenic chairlift rides. Some of the Deer Valley upper mountain bike trails will be closed this summer, so we are excited to give those passholders access to some amazing new terrain.
Annual State of Solitude
Sometime in June we will be meeting with our employees, owners, locals, and guests to share season highlights and discuss future opportunities. We’ll also talk about the capital projects we’ll be working on this summer and in coming years.
