Snow is falling at Solitude, and Winter 26/27 is right around the corner! With summer operations wrapped up, crews are finishing mountain projects, preparing for opening day, and welcoming seasonal team members. Solitude is actively hiring for full-time and part-time positions across the resort, with plenty of opportunities to enjoy the mountain while working here.
Winter Pass Options
With ski season approaching, now is the time to secure a pass. The Solitude Midweek Pass offers Monday – Thursday access, excluding holidays, while the Midweek Plus Pass adds unlimited daily access during the early and late season. The Young Adult Pass offers unlimited skiing and riding with no blackout dates for $719, and the new Solitude S Card provides flexible two-, three-, and four-day options starting at $238.
For those looking to explore more of Utah, the Ikon Pass and Ikon Base Pass offer unlimited access to Solitude with no blackout dates, plus access to additional destinations. Ikon Pass products will go off sale later this fall, so don’t wait too long.
Parking & Transportation
Solitude is making parking easier this winter, with free parking and no reservations required from opening day through December 18 and again beginning March 29. During peak season, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays will require a $35 parking reservation, with spaces held until 11:00 a.m. Carpooling with four or more Solitude guests will continue to qualify for free parking.
Solitude season pass holders and Ikon Pass holders can also ride the UTA ski bus for free. Complimentary overnight gear storage at the Moonbeam base area makes taking the bus or carpooling even easier. For guests looking for added convenience, VIP parking and gear storage packages are available at Moonbeam and in Solitude Village.
More Perks for Ikon Pass holders
Ikon Pass holders have even more reasons to visit Solitude this winter. Friends & Family lift ticket discounts will be 50% off Monday – Thursday, excluding holidays, and 25% off Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
Solidaze is also returning with collectible stickers, exclusive merchandise, pass holder parties, and giveaways. This season, Ikon Pass holders will have opportunities to win one of 16 Ikon Passes or a grand prize heli-skiing trip to CMH.
$70 Tuesdays & What’s Ahead
In celebration of Solitude’s upcoming 70th anniversary in 2027, $70 Tuesdays are returning throughout Winter 26/27.
Other updates include the introduction of Pay With Pass, allowing guests to use their Solitude season pass or Ikon Pass for purchases across the resort. New learn-to-ski and snowboard programs, Kids Ski Free Week in December, and additional winter promotions are also on the way.
With snow already falling and opening day getting closer, it’s time to get ready for another winter at Solitude!
