Spring is in full effect at Solitude with plentiful sunshine, excellent corn snow, and plenty of events coming your way. Red Bull Cascade returns to Solitude this Friday and Saturday. This collaborative competition features top level freestyle skiers on a custom course that combines park features with natural terrain.
Red Bull Cascade
You can’t miss the monster jumps emerging from the trees in the Sunrise terrain area. This can only mean one thing: Red Bull Cascade is back in town. We are thrilled to welcome Red Bull back to Solitude!
This year’s Cascade course begins at the top of Sunrise and drops into the Polaris trees before continuing down North Star to the base of Sunrise. Along the way are all manner of berms, jumps, gaps, and creative features. The course offers non-stop action for both participants and spectators.
Excellent on-mountain viewing opportunities for Red Bull Cascade exist along North Star as well as at the intersection of North Star and Dynamite. Spectators can also view the action at the base of Sunrise which includes an LED screen showing live drone footage. Guests are welcome to walk up to the Sunrise location from Solitude Village. Shuttle transportation to the Village is available from the Moonbeam parking lot.

Skiing & Riding Deep Into Spring
Solitude has plenty more skiing and riding in store for you this season!
Our base is still currently sitting near the 100-inch mark, and we are looking forward to the return of cold temperatures and powder this weekend. Mother Nature ultimately makes the final decision on how late we stay open, but as long as she is amenable, we plan to keep you skiing and riding well into May.
Enjoy Red Bull Cascade this weekend and see you on the slopes!
