April powder days bring May closing dates! 64″ of snow so far in April has kept spring skiing and riding conditions excellent while helping boost summer water supply. For the first time in Solitude’s history, we will be closing in May. Join us for a retro themed closing day party on Sunday, May 1st. Celebrate Solitude’s longest season ever (160 days!) with free parking, 50% off of food at our dining locations, music, & swag giveaways on May 1!

Some of this seasons highlights include opening in November, extended lift hours, free overnight gear check, and beaches & BBQ’s across the resort. Our spring music series was a hit, capped off with dancing and lively tunes from Pixie & the Partygrass Boys. The signature event this season was the pond skim. It was such a fun-filled spring day. If you missed the event, be sure to check out the awesome recap video.

Our first season offering uphill travel has been a hit! Stay tuned for policies regarding uphill travel after our resort operations come to an end on May 1.

Without the hard work from amazing staff members at Solitude, these events and operations would not be possible. Additionally, our key partners play a huge role in pulling off a successful ski and ride season. We want to extend a huge thank you to our employees and partners for their support and excellence this season.

Most of all, thank you to our guests! We thank you for visiting us and sharing your excitement for Solitude.

Let’s finish off this historic season in style! We hope to see you at our retro closing day party May 1.
