Spring has sprung! With later daylight and longer evenings, Solitude’s lift hours will be shifting for April 2022. Friday through Sunday, selected chairlifts will run 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, chairlifts will run 9:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m., followed by an opportunity for uphill travel.
Beginning April 4, 2022, Solitude will allow limited uphill travel Monday-Thursday after 3:30 p.m. The designated uphill route is along Easy Street, across the Apex base area, and up North Star. Downhill routes include all open runs accessible from the top of Sunrise chairlift. Summit Access East will not be open.
This portion of the hill was identified as good intermediate terrain with little avalanche danger. However, mountain operations are ongoing, and skiers may encounter snowmobiles and snowcats on the slopes. Be aware of your surroundings. Guests should call 911 in case of emergency during these hours as ski patrol will not be available.
Full rules are on our website. Get your free uphill travel pass (required) at the Moonbeam guest services desk or the Village ticket office during business hours. We are excited to add this activity for our locals. We will be gauging the safety and impact of this offering as we evaluate how we’ll be able to carry it into the future. Please be mindful stewards of uphill travel privileges at Solitude so we can continue to make it available to our community.
Ikon Pass and Solitude-only Midweek Passes are now on sale. Solitude is excited to welcome Snowbasin in Utah as a new Ikon Pass partner for the 22/23 season! As a companion to the $399 Solitude-only Midweek Pass, we will be offering a $99 parking pass for the same days. That’s $498 for a full season of the best days on the hill. Plus: anyone who purchases a pass this spring will get access beginning Monday, April 4, 2022!
