When your day at Solitude comes to a close, point your skis toward Solitude Village. Whether you make an Open Table reservation for classic American cuisine at Honeycomb Grill or an Alpine-inspired repast at St. Bernards, or grab a pizza and seltzers from Stone Haus — cool your heels in Solitude Village at the end of your day.
Classic mountain bar The Thirsty Squirrel hosts live music on Fridays and Saturdays and is a locals’ favorite for an après snack or beverage. This year, The Thirsty Squirrel will have patio seating throughout the winter for you heartier partiers. For indoor types, The Thirsty Squirrel offers a pool table, darts, shuffleboard, and flat-screen TVs to watch the game.
For your staycation or home away from home, Solitude Village features lodging options from ski-in, ski-out hotel-style accommodations at The Inn at Solitude to multi-bedroom luxury homes. We have condos of all sizes and styles in four picturesque lodges, all just a short walk from Apex Express chairlift.
Located behind The Inn at Solitude, you will find the northern extent of our Nordic ski and snowshoe trails. This system includes 20 km of trail groomed for both classic and skate-style cross country skiing. It also includes 10 km of dedicated snowshoe trails. Snowshoes can be rented from the Powderhorn Adventure Center in Solitude Village for a magical winter excursion among snow-draped fir trees.
The Inn at Solitude is also home to our Spa & Wellness Center and the only liquor store in Big Cottonwood Canyon. However you like to unwind, Solitude Village has got you covered. And if you are just chilling in Solitude Village while waiting out the canyon traffic, our free shuttle will take you safely back to the Moonbeam base area once the worst of it has passed.
