Bring on summer! It’s been a long and lovely spring, but we are stoked to spin our lifts for mountain biking, hiking, disc golf, and other summer fun. Solitude will have its earliest summer opening ever on Friday, May 22. Escape the valley heat and join us in the mountains for Memorial Day weekend. Check our Mountain Report page for hours of operation and to see what trails and activities are open.
Following Memorial Day weekend, Solitude will be open Thursdays through Sundays before moving to daily operations on June 11. Twilight Nights are back again this season, featuring extended hours on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, along with Coca-Cola Sunset Cinema on Thursdays.
Solitude Bike Park
Get ready to roll. Solitude is proud to partner with Deer Valley again this season to offer the Wasatch Gravity Pass. Access two great bike parks on one pass — it’s the best deal in the area for lift-served mountain biking.
Solitude Bike Park continues to improve and expand its offerings. Coming your way this season:
- Two professional competitions showcasing some of the best downhill riders in the country. Join us for the Mountain States Cup, July 2-5, and the Pro Downhill Series, July 15-19.
- Team Solitude moves into summer with our new Mountain Bike team. Using Solitude Bike Park as their training ground, kids ages 8-16 improve skills and learn to compete.
- Completion of Emerald Alley, our newest blue/green flowy jump trail.

Snowmaking Improvements
We expect much less impactful construction this summer but will continue to make improvements to our snowmaking system, including snowmaking upgrades on Easy Street. And more guns may be on the way for fall!
