Our Mein Street Noodle Bar is now open! Guests have been raving about our new dining option upstairs at Last Chance Lodge. Mein Street Noodle Bar features delicious bowls of tonkatsu and veggie ramen prepared by Chef Renee, who lived in Japan and has brought authentic recipes home to the resort. These large, brothy noodle bowls are the perfect warming comfort food for cold and windy days. Savor a bowl along with a draft beer or other beverage while enjoying the great canyon and mountain views.

We’re pleased to announce some additional new food & beverage options. The Yurt is recently rebuilt and now open for dinner. Reservations are required for this unique dining experience which features a guided snowshoe tour through a moonlit forest, followed by a multi-course meal. The Yurt will soon have ski-in lunch service available as well.

Have you noticed the bright red wagon parked near the Village bridge or the Thirsty Squirrel? This is our new food truck. The Red Wagon by Coca-Cola where you can get loaded Sidewinder Fries and delicious hot wings.

Another dining option you should be aware of is St. Bernard’s, nestled in the heart of Solitude Village. St. B’s offers sit-down dining with tableside service. Breakfast and lunch are served daily and dinner offered Friday through Sunday. Enjoy dishes such as tartiflette and soba noodles, or try the incredible salmon. It’s a perfect spot to get out of the cold.

We’re currently in the middle of the winter holiday season and our 12 Days of Holiday Cheer. Check out the events calendar for daily activities, including free s’mores on certain days and our fireworks show and torchlight parade on New Year’s Eve. We’re tracking a major storm arriving next week, so check the website for the latest info in case or updates or delays.

In addition to holiday programming, Solitude continues to offer on-mountain geology tours and hosts the Ski with a Ranger program. Both are a great way to learn more about the local environment and natural history of Solitude.

Speaking of history, Solitude just celebrated its 65th anniversary. Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate and meet some of the founding families of Solitude. We are still welcoming stories and memorabilia, so if you have something of interest, please get in touch!

Enjoy the holidays and see you on the slopes! Stay tuned for future capital improvements coming to Solitude, including recently approved funding to replace Eagle Express. See you in 2023!
