We just wrapped up our 5th annual Pond Skim Beach Party—and it was a fun one! Fresh snow earlier in the week set the stage, and now we’re right back to classic spring skiing: sunny skies, soft turns, and prime corn conditions.
Looking ahead, Solitude will close out the 25/26 winter season on Sunday, April 19, with a bonus weekend planned for April 24–26, conditions permitting. We will continue with Daily Operations until April 19, with lifts operating 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday – Thursday and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friday – Sunday. As temperatures rise, our teams are working hard to keep as much terrain open as possible so you can make the most of the rest of the season!
For lift and terrain updates, Eagle Express, Honeycomb Return, Honeycomb Canyon, and the Soli Parks Tow have closed for the season, while the Main Street Park will remain open. Be sure to check the Mountain Report daily for the latest conditions and terrain offerings.
Upcoming Spring Events
Cardboard Derby: Saturday, April 11 at 11:00 a.m.
Solidaze continues with Solitude’s Cardboard Derby. Spring’s most creative race featuring homemade cardboard crafts.
Registration will be available for teams of 1-4 people. “Boats” are to be made of cardboard and duct tape only and no longer than 15 feet long. Prizes for quickest, best crash, and best costume/boat design.
8:00 to 10:00 a.m. — Registration and boat drop of at Last Chance Lodge
11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. — Cardboard Derby near Last Chance Lodge
Last Chance Rodeo: Saturday, April 18 at 12:00 p.m.
Saddle up for the ultimate end-of-season send-off at our Last Chance Rodeo! Grab your crew and get ready for one of the wildest runs on the mountain. Race down the Main Street obstacle course—on hobby horse—skiing, riding, and galloping your way to glory.
But the fun doesn’t stop at the finish line. Test your grit on the mechanical bull or show off your aim with axe throwing.
